Salad Valley has long rides, but be wary of riding during low tide as you might scrape the underlying coral.

KwaZulu-Natal surfing, Durban

Warner Beach by Durban offers some of the best waves for KwaZulu-Natal surfing. It is a point break going both ways with a nice sand bottom. The rides at Warner Beach can go for 200 metres if you can last that long. Addington Beach is packed and carries with it an excellent social scene and big waves.
