Visit Farsons Festival from Malta accommodation

Outside of Valletta the town of Attard rocks during the annual Farsons Great Beer Festival. Ta’Qali Park fills with a massive beer garden featuring local favourites, beers brewed especially for the event and famous beers from around the world. Malta accommodation will provide a sober getaway after the beer has run out, if it ever does.

Ta’Qali Park, in the town of Attard not far from Valletta and a variety of Malta accommodation, is the venue for this fantastic event of pure fun and enjoyment. The Farsons Great Beer Festival is a 10-day programme of events beginning at the end of July and running into August. Ice cold beer is the centrepiece of Farsons Festival and the hot weather makes the chilled beer taste even better!

Farsons Festival & Malta accommodation

Traditional brews are found in the Circle of Ales at Malta’s beer festival, and include Blue Label and Hopleaf Smooth n’ Creamy. The festival also has its own brews just for the occasion that you are welcome to try when you book villas in Malta. Try Cisk Red, Farsons Strong Ale, Cisk Extra Strong and Lacto Milk Stout.

If something more international appeals to your taste buds the World Beers Area features labels from around the globe, and you can stagger back to your Malta accommodation from here. There is plenty of food on hand. From traditional Maltese dishes, to Turkish and even Chinese so your hunger will be satiated.

Farsons Festival activities

Aside from being able to sample stellar brews all day, there is much more going on at the Farsons Beer Festival. Believe it or not this event was created for the whole family. The Kids Fantasyland is built to keep the children entertained whilst parents enjoy themselves. There are plays for the kids, face painting, games and contests so they enjoy their day out as much as the adults do.

The music seems to play non stop, in fact it plays for about 300 hours for the ten day Farsons Festival. There is a main stage and a rock stage that hosts nearly 40 bands of the country’s best talent. The bars also participate by showcasing their favourite brews. And for your safety and convenience for the journey back to your Malta accommodation after the beer festival, buses 40, 53 and 57 run from Ta’Qali Park to Valletta.
